Fics like For Dust You Are

In the year 847, Captain Levi recruits four outcasts for an experimental strike team nicknamed the Special Operations Squad. Burdened by the secrets of their pasts, Levi's new recruits can't understand why their captain has chosen them. But Levi has secrets of his own, and he picked each one of them for a reason...even if no one can see what that reason is. No one, that is, except Erwin Smith. Aka, the story of how the original Levi Squad came to be. **ON HIATUS (see note)**: This story is technically incomplete because originally I meant to write a much longer work, but life and other projects got in the way. That being said, the existing four chapters still represent a more-or-less complete work exploring the life story and background of each member of the original Levi Squad and showing how they were recruited. There are some hints about a bigger plot and mystery, but in my opinion, the story stands without it. I may write more someday, but this is it for now.
