Alastor drug his bloody, battered body through the wreckage of his tower; jagged edges of wood and steel tearing at the gaping hole in his flesh with every inch gained. The blood loss must be substantial. His legs stopped working properly within minutes of the fight. By the time he propped his back against the radio console, his fingers were numb and no longer obeying his commands. He sucked in a wet, shaking breath; grimacing as he felt the air escape right back out of his own chest. There was nothing else to be done. ... By the time they scramble back to the wreckage, something is definitely amiss. They are not met with the crumbled body of a giant, red, deer demon… In its place is an impossibly fragile man, soft and lean and long; and so, so vulnerable. What the fuck? The sight of a human laying smack in the middle of the combined destructive forces of both Heaven and Hell is too much for any of the demons present to handle. All at once, all four sinners scramble to shield the prone figure from further danger. Before he realizes what he’s doing, Lucifer has scooped a very human Alastor into his arms and portaled him away to the safety of the palace.
