Fics like normalizing factor

Time moves on, and things go back to normal. They don’t mention that night at Palomar’s again, and Sam can almost convince himself that the experience didn’t have any lasting effects on their friendship. Sure, it takes a bit for them to warm up to gay chicken again, and Luke always pulls away before they can get even close to a kiss, but that’s fine. That’s more than fine, even — it’s normal. Sam can almost convince himself that he doesn’t want more. Or, 5 times Sam beats Luke at gay chicken + 1 time they realize it’s more than that
