Zane Draycott grew up in the village of Lunaris, a place known for its deep connection to celestial magic. For generations, the villagers practiced ancient traditions that involved summoning the 12 Chinese Zodiac Spirits, a powerful force passed down through the ages. Zane, born with the unique ability to summon all 12, was revered by his people. But everything changed the night the followers of Zeref came. Seeking to exploit the power of the Zodiac Spirits for their dark purposes, they ravaged Lunaris, leaving destruction in their wake. As the village crumbled, Zane, just fourteen, and the last hope for his people, was forced to flee, burdened with the immense power of the Zodiac and the sorrow of losing his home. Now, Zane finds solace within the halls of Fairy Tail, where new bonds are formed, and battles lie ahead. Joining Team Natsu, he stands ready to protect his new family and grow stronger. But the shadow of Lunaris, and the darkness that destroyed it, still haunts him, waiting for the moment to reawaken as Zane’s journey truly begins.
