Fics like Sonic the Hedgehog & Gadget the Wolf: Freedom Fighters

“They had allowed you to suffer as you did and you resent them for it.” Sonic sees what being Infinite's plaything for six months does to one's mental psyche and trying to regain his lost sense of normalcy in a post-war Mobius. “You don’t deserve to belong among them and you know it.” Gadget joins the world famous Knothole Freedom Fighters hot off the heels of his wartime achievements and feeling the need to prove his own worth to his new teammates even though they're more than happy to have a young war hero on their team. Both will find themselves be tested to their limits like never before. A tale of one hero reevaluating what he thought he knew about himself, one hero facing his own unwritten destiny and both overcoming the war within one's self as they try to go save the world or die trying.
