Fics like An intergalactic Wanderer's convoluted guide to achieving freedom and discovering feelings

When Scaramouche throws himself into the heart of Irminsul to give his past transgressions a second chance at life, all he expects the envelopment of darkness to be followed by the visage of the friends he had wronged. What he does not expect, however, is to awake with an arm chained in a sterile room faced with armor clad figures calling themselves the ‘IPC’. Suddenly he’s thrust into his new life under the Strategic Investment Department as the 11th Stoneheart, yet again another pawn for yet another powerful organization. He’s just about to accept his new fate or devise another method to force his way out, when Jade delivers him a special mission: Accompany Topaz into the Land of Dreams and be the one to oversee the conclusion of Penacony over Aventurine- his success meaning freedom as a reward. Scaramouche eagerly jumps at the opportunity, however, upon arrival quickly realising that there is a lot more beneath the surface, leading him straight to a certain angel that he may have more in common with than he originally thought. OR Scaramouche Isekais into the Honkai: Star Rail universe, joins the IPC against his will, discovers feelings and kind of saves Penacony- in that order.
