Ford is back after Stan activated the portal, and they’re both settling as well as they can. Which is, unsurprisingly, not well at all. When Ford tells Stan that he needs to be out of his house at the end of summer, Stan…doesn’t take it very well. Emotions run high, traumas resurface, and Ford realizes just how much Stan has gone through since they were eighteen. It’s not pretty. (AKA a rewrite of the ending from ‘A Tale of Two Stans’ with a significantly angstier, yet somehow far more hopeful confrontation.)
