Fics like And it’s not terrible, but it’s too long

“Ponyboy My mom went to go pick up my dad at work and on their way home they had to stop off at the bakery cause I forgot to pick up this special chocolate frosting for her. I was sposed to pick it up after school. My mom was making my brother Darrel a cake for his birthday... If I woulda remembered to pick up that frosting... they wouldn'ta had to drive a cross those train tracks. Cherry Ponyboy, that wasn't your fault.” Or, Ponyboy Curtis knows it’s his fault that his parents are dead. But someone thinks otherwise. Or, After hearing this part in the musical I had to expand on the idea of Ponyboy believing it was his fault his parents died that night. Based on a scene from the movie: Goodwill Hunting
