Fics like The Cursed Chronicles

When Harrison was 7, the Durselys went to America for vacation. It was a surprise that he was allowed to go with them. Until they abandoned him in Chicago. In Chicago, he is found a young wizard who just killed his uncle. This wizard gives him a home and the family he's always wanted. No one in England notices that he was missing until it was time for him to start Hogwarts. His letter doesn't write itself out like the other potential First Years. Dumbledore immediately goes into damage control. After six months Harry is declared dead by British Ministry. However Dumbledore and his order have never stopped looking. As a last resort during what would have been Harry's Fifth Year, he enters Harry into the Tri-Wizard Tournament. To everyone's surprise the ritual brings a sarcastic powerful wizard to England. To say the High Council and his guardian are not amused is an understatement. Being drawn into a war that didn't involve him, annoyed Harrison. Their way of magic was backwards and completely different from what he grew up with. It was even more annoying when Dumbledore expected him to fight for him without question. Yeah fuck that. He would do things his own way.
