Fics like It only makes sense when I'm yours

“I’m worried about you.” Buck says, so softly, so tenderly. There’s these walls Eddie has built around his heart. Carefully constructed, brick by brick, since he was a kid in Texas, trying to fit in. It’s funny how they just disappear around Buck, like they never even existed. Around Christopher too, to some extent. But he still has to be the adult, the dad with Chris. But with Buck, he can let it go. So he lets it go, and says, “Yeah, I’m worried about me too.” Because he is. His brain is melting, leaking out of his ears. He knows Kim is not Shannon, he knows. But he so wants her to be. Because without Shannon, he’s broken. or Eddie leans on Buck during the Kim fiasco instead of repressing and Chris never sees her. So everything should be fine, right? There shouldn't be a gay arc right behind him? RIGHT?
