V is the most efficient killer in her squad, the top of her game. Being at the top, however, is unsurprisingly stressful. The weight of expectations she unintentionally set crushes her, drives her mad. She needs a way out, a little bit of relief... Uzi is worker drone, exiled from and shunned by her colony for a strange mutation in her AI that she simply can't help. With certain death hanging over her head, Uzi finds a way to prolong the inevitable, forming an uneasy alliance with an unhinged murder drone who seems like she'd enjoy picking Uzi out of her teeth a little too much... A flimsy agreement between an unhinged hunter and its unwilling prey leads to a string of events that signals the beginning of the collapse of a fragile hierarchy, and the union between two species that were born to not get along.
