Fics like When The Stars Collide

"This place, it's broken. Worlds are bleeding through, universes are dying, even the stars are running into each other. Time isn't supposed to end for a long, long time...what's speeding it up? There's no data, no evidence. Time must be saved, but from what? The greatest villains of all time, Lucifer-evil himself; Loki, god of Mischief; Moriarty, The Consulting Criminal; and 24 beasts of time itself. Angels made of metal, formed from the sky and time vortex. For once, I; the Doctor, am helpless in the face of danger. If I cannot save the universe, then who can?" And from that moment there was an idea, an idea to bind the protectors of different worlds, nations, and universes. To create a group of protectors unlike any other. This group would not be solely human or solely non-human but a perfect mix. This group was destined to save the world from the same threat that killed the Doctor. But can they? They are scattered and broken, damaged almost beyond repair. They hate each other and do not believe. Trust is such a fragile thing, hope nonexistant. The fate of everything rests on the shoulders of saviors who don't want to save anything.
