Fics like Frustration

Shanks couldn't even stand a chance. Especially not with his heart. Neither ten years ago at seventeen, nor now at twenty-seven. When, freezing in a daze of overwhelming feelings, the red-haired pirate, the Akagami pirates' captain, the rising threat of seas, stares at his longtime but still so close friend, Wyvern. Wyvern, the one who is still a nakama, though he himself never boarded as one. Wyvern smiles at him, greeting him cheerfully and giving him a hug. Behind his back are kids that watch with curiosity. And something in Shanks shatters. ——— Frustration ( lat. frustratio - “deception”, “failure”, “futile expectation”, “frustration of plans”) is a negative mental state arising in a situation of real or perceived impossibility to satisfy certain needs, or, simply put, in a situation of inconsistency of desires with available opportunities. Such a situation can be considered as traumatizing to a certain extent.
