Fics like if you don't hate me (then reanimate me)

It's all so cliche: Boy meets vampire, vampire stalks boy, boy falls in love with vampire, vampire engages in torrid love affair with boy, boy asks to become vampire, vampire performs a lobotomy on boy, boy comes back fifty years later to ruin vampire's life, vampire turns boy into an undead creature of the night and fucks off into the ether. Okay, maybe it's not cliche, but Daniel does feel like he's living in a bizarro-world rom-com. Maybe it's not cliche, but Armand knew the second he lied to Louis, the second he erased Daniel's memories, that the bill would come due eventually. Edit 2026: Minor revisions, spelling and grammar adjustments.
