Oscar barely saw it coming his way, it came at him too suddenly, but that is no excuse, he trains his reflexes for a reason. Later, reviewing the onboards and multiple track cameras, he’d learn that Max had swerved too close over the edge and displaced the debris. It bumped into the side of his car and the wind sent it flying backwards right onto Oscar’s path. But that is at a later date, right now Oscar tries to swerve to avoid the mysterious object.
