Fics like A Postcard

•— A postcard, a summertime picture of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge flat against the clear sky, as red as fresh blood on blue denim. Ennis frowns, then turns it over to read. Friend. I miss you. Call the number on the slip. I’ll be waiting. Got a lot to tell. - J —• A postcard turns up for Ennis 3 years after Jack’s death. (A mini, post-canon multi-chapter fic that is a fix-it but in a way that makes sense within the canon of the story bc i can’t deal with that ending any longer girls)
