Fics like even good things (healing wounds sting)

Tim should be excited, right? He had asked for this, spent weeks hoping it would work out. Tim wanted this. Wanted to move in with the Waynes, wanted desperately to not be so alone anymore. And yet, for some reason, he didn't feel better. It was as though he'd been set adrift, none of the anchors of his old life left to cling to. No rocks, no routines. And even though everything at Wayne Manor was better, it was so very different. Or: When you're autistic, even the best changes can still be overwhelming. The Manor comes with more interaction, with more noise, with more life and Tim doesn't know how to handle it. Things come to a head with the first meltdown Tim's had outside of his carefully constructed hiding place. The biggest change of all is that now there are people to catch Tim when he's falling.
