Fics like you'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling

All Derek wants is a new start - away from his old job, old boyfriend, and old life, and taking a job as an aubergine farmer seems to be the best way to do that. He didn't expect to be thrown into the middle of an aubergine-fueled family feud, all while falling in love with his boss's angry, hurting son Titch. Derek fights with his feelings as the two of them grow closer, and he tries to break through to find a way inside Titch's stone-cold heart. ---- my thoughts were for this to be a sort of backstory for the "one time that meant a lot" to derek, and see where their relationship goes during and beyond the events of the unrelenting aubergine, and make sure they all get the happy ending they deserve :D
