There is an old legend, passed down throughout the history of Kiferberg and the surrounding towns. A witch’s forest, a strange figure who grants wishes at a terrible cost. If one wandered into the woods at night, then perhaps their wish would be granted. Thousands have made the trek into those woods, seeking their wish. Elise thinks it’s a whole load of nonsense, personally. But then she finds a mage hiding in her old granary, speaking of Elise’s supposed fate, to defeat the demon, and reclaim her heritage. Maybe her granny’s strange ramblings meant more than Elise thought they did.
