Fics like Flowers on my skin

Above the heart, hobbits carried the visible manifestations of their friendships, family ties and romantic relationships in the form of markings which grew like flowers on their chests. Thinking that the Dwarves of Thorin's company will never forgive him, Bilbo taps into the hobbits' green magic at great risk to his life and shows everyone that nature is not only gentle and kind, but has thorns, and that the Bonds between him and the Dwarves are not so easily broken than as would have thought.
