Fics like A Second Chance

"Bilbo concentrated on his breathing. 'You can do this,' he encouraged himself internally. Then he looked up. He dared another attempt to meet Thorin's gaze. The sapphire blue tone pulled Bilbo in so deeply that he struggled to break free—there was life in those eyes; Thorin was right in front of him, he... was alive." Bilbo, along with Frodo, has traveled to Valinor where he enjoys his retirement, or at least tries to. One day, an Elven lady appears and offers him the chance to travel back in time and change his fate. Of course, he doesn't say no. With courage, he must ensure that everything goes its rightful way, yet he knows this is his last chance to save the lives of those who matter to him. Especially that of one, Thorin, whose fate caused him to live his whole life in sorrow. Will Bilbo manage to seal the fate, or will it catch up with him and plunge him into despair? A race against time begins. Bagginshield / Thilbo
