Fics like Collateral

Billy stabbed her a third and fourth time. She slumped back on the bed, breathing heavily as she went into shock. He couldn’t tell if she recognized his voice, but he really didn’t care. Wouldn’t make a difference. Fiona’s eyes trailed to her doorway, where she took a deep breath and attempted to scream. Before she could, Billy sank his knife again for the fifth and final time. All panic and tension left her face, leaving her dead eyes staring at the doorway. He took a few breaths, looking at her soft face until he followed her gaze to the doorway and- Billy’s heart nearly beat out of his chest as he saw what Fiona tried to scream at. Suddenly his ears were ringing and his limbs felt cold as he saw the costumed figure in the doorway. —————— Billy expected a lot of things when he murdered. Loose dog, porch lights, etc. He never expected another murderer.
