Fics like dream in a dream

Harry has longed to meet his parents all his life. When he is reunited with his parents’ best friend and his uncle, he is informed of something magical, something he dreamed about for years: his parents are alive. Only, they aren’t in a good state. But Harry wasn’t sorted into Gryffindor for nothing and any chance to meet his parents is too good to give up. Even if they don’t recognise him.
