Fics like The Migratory Path of Wayward Birds

In his defense, he hadn’t meant to kidnap his brother, but it was probably too late to go back now. Sick and tired of his father’s lifestyle, all Damian al Ghul–Wayne wants is some time away from high society life, a plant that isn’t carefully hedged and trimmed, and a few lungfuls of fresh air (and maybe also his mother). Sneaking into his brother’s beat-up car wasn’t meant to fulfill any of that. But when Jason Todd-Wayne, equally fed up with Wayne Manor’s glitz and glam, just so happens to decide that an impromptu cross-country drive is the perfect way to clear his head at just the worst time... Cue the worst-slash-best-slash-only road trip of both of their lives, feat. birds, terrible aliases, wars over the music, the Is the Plant Edible? (Are You Sure? (Are You Really, Really, Sure?)) game, semi-reluctant volunteer work, America’s many national parks, and a good number of faces, both familiar and not.
