Fics like Longing for the Shore.

“25,000€!” the auctioneer cries, “for a date night with Euro Champion Unai Simón-” “26,000€!” she bids again. Unai can feel the hairs standing on the back of his neck as he watches the man smile before bidding: “30,000€.” People gasp. The auctioneer may have a stroke while the woman gives her opponent a curt look before putting her sign down. And Unai… well, Unai is still staring at the winner, still rendered speechless as the crowd finally simmers down enough for him to hear: “30,000€, and sold to Mr. Pedri.” (Or: Forced to auction himself as a date, Unai drunkenly confides in his teammate, Pedri, that he's gay and healing from heartbreak. Unai is ill-equipped for the friendship that blossoms and even less prepared for what's to come.)
