Fics like Pets and Presentations

Andrew Brewer's science teacher has given the class an assignment Andrew really does not want to do: give a presentation to the entire class. Andrew's father and step-mother know how difficult it is for Andrew to speak in front of people - and they give him an offer he cannot refuse: if he completes the assignment, he can choose a prize - and they agree to his suggestion of two rats. There's only one problem: to earn the rats (and their cage, food bowl, water bottle, etc.), Andrew has to prepare the presentation and give it to the class - and he's sure he can't do that. But he knows his father and Elizabeth and his teacher expect him to try - and he agrees.
