Fics like Still Holding On to Everything (That Was Viewed as Lost)

After years of living with his less-than-stellar Great Uncle following the death of his mother and younger siblings in a car accident, Genya is finally able to stand on his own two feet as an eighteen-year-old in University. Although, Kimetsu University contains a familiar face that he's unsure if he's ready to face - the estranged brother that he hadn't spoken to since their separation and Genya spit out the damning words that he never wanted to see Sanemi again - forever. It was a total lie and something said in the heat of the moment, but Sanemi hadn't allowed him contact once since then. He's also free from the stigma that he'd gained in secondary school, though a part of him is terrified at the prospect of that not lasting as long as he begs for it to and the past following him into the present. ... AKA: Genya's fresh start of university as he navigates recovering from a serious health-scare that nearly ripped his life from him along with making friends and facing possible reconciliation from a brother that ignored him in the lowest points of his life. Nothing too big to write home about.
