Fics like Guns N' Butterflies

Set in season 3 While Butcher is away, sourcing the items from their guest's seemingly unending list of "requirements." He was a PTSD-stricken, paranoid, prone to anger super-boomer who just so happened to double as a nuclear bomb, and amidst a vengeful quest. So, best keep him happy. Eventually, Hughie finds himself alone with the newly-revived, foul mouthed supe, who he had been actively trying to avoid as subtly as he could, for reasons more than one. A whole cocktail, of them. Most of which he hadn't even quite explored yet. And being the obvious talkative extrovert between the two of them, Butcher had been unknowingly covering for him. Alas, not this time. And it was only after he was compelled to finally converse with him, that for some reason, he felt like a prepubescent schoolgirl with a crush. (Publishing bits and pieces beforehand to see if anybody's interested at all and makes it worth writing/continuing).
