Fics like he always knows what i need

“Baby?” Alex’s voice is sleep-rough and soft. “I heard a bang. Are you–” Alex doesn’t finish his sentence as he takes three strides over to Henry before falling to his knees in front of him. He falls heavily into Alex’s hands as they grasp his face. “Fuck, sweetheart,” he hisses, “you’re like a fuckin’ furnace. Let’s get you back to bed.” He pulls Henry into him, rubbing his back the way Henry lives for when he feels poorly. --- Alex always knows how to take care of Henry when he's sick.
