Fics like you're the sound of a song (and i can't get you out of my head)

Max loved music, he really did. He liked all kinds of sounds, the slow stuff, the fast stuff, the angry stuff. He wasn’t picky really. He had even started to appreciate some of the music his dad had tried to show him as a kid that he had tried to switch off over and over again, now he was an adult. He just loved music. It didn’t matter what kind of music it was, he was often found with his headphones perched over his ears, mouthing along and grooving to whatever he could. He could escape from reality, disappear into a symphony of chords and notes that danced around his head like twinkling stars. His dad had shown him home videos from when he was little, dancing around to various pop hits from the 90’s, singing loudly and obnoxiously, and it wasn’t much different from his adult self. And of course, he had his whole Powerline obsession that truly never ended, even now in his mid twenties. But he hated classical music.
