Fics like My Treasure

When a dragon moves into the kingdom, threatening lives and destroying livelihoods in his wake, knight Choi San is called upon by his King to slay the beast. Though it’s widely regarded that slaying a dragon is a near impossible task, San is very good as what he does, and confident in his abilities, sets off to carry out his mission. But aren’t dragons supposed to be more…ferocious? More inclined towards obliterating entire towns and killing hundreds of innocents? This one doesn’t seem inclined to do much of anything, and as San waits for an epic battle that doesn’t happen, he’s left wondering if he can really kill a creature that acts more like an overgrown puppy than a horrific killer of legend. It’s unfair really. Dragons are not supposed to be so cute.
