Fics like The Downtown Lights

You meet Miya Atsumu when you’re a twenty-three year old sports reporter working for a small news outlet in your home prefecture of Hyōgo. Your time with him is brief—all you do is one interview and watch two of Inarizaki’s matches—but his brash personality and brilliance on the court stick with you; along with the fact that his brother exposes him for having a crush on you. Fast forward almost six years and now he’s a twenty-three year old star setter for the MSBY Black Jackals and you’ve achieved your dream of becoming a nationally renowned sportscaster. Your lives couldn’t be more different so it’s not possible that he still harbors that schoolboy crush on you. Right?
