Fics like My Season With The Dead

It didn't make any sense. Being thrown into a different universe was something you only saw on television or in books. She wasn't in either of those, well, she didn't used to be. She used to live in a normal world with a normal life, watching TV, going to college, working when she didn't have classes. All the normal people stuff. And normal people didn't get Isekai'd into another universe. Sure, they seem like normal people, but they always have a special skill. She didn't have any special skills! So, what does that mean? What does it mean when she's shoved into her favorite tv show with no explanation? She wasn't built for the zombie apocalypse, she couldn't do it alone. What if she manages to find the main characters of the show? She still has to navigate their drama and the magnet for danger they all are. Was this a nightmare? Was she dead? What the hell was going on?
