Fics like Chains

Not my fic idea!! This fic was originally written by ValentinesDayGreen on DeviantArt. I've just loved this fic for a while, so... I decided to rewrite it, especially now that I've been dumped and have a bit of free time on my hands!! My rewrite will follow closely, to the original story, just... simply written in my style, with a few new writing choices. I don't plan to change anything big though!! --- Summary: [Name] had lived almost all their life with their adoptive parent, Buddy, in their quiet mountain home. Birdsong and sunsets were their only quiet company so far away from most towns and cities, and although that might sound lonely, to them, it was perfectly picturesque... They didn't need any more than they had with each other. However... When Buddy comes stumbling home one day, knife in hand, [Name] finds something in the basement that changes all they knew about their life, and the place they called home.
