Fics like pretty girls and starting conversations

Margo first met Poppy back when she was ‘Brie’, and they'd been... different, from the start. Poppy had been the heiress-next-door with an iron will and the sharpest tongue this side of the Pacific, and Margo was doing her best to survive hiding out as the kid of an ex-supervillain who more-than-occasionally blew his cover. When they stay in touch after Margo leaves Mayflower, it's unexpected, sure- but it's the nice kind of unexpected. OR The slowburn friends-to-penpals-to-lovers AU that you didn't know you were waiting for, complete with awkward pauses, a boarding school, and, eventually, fluff.
