Fics like Boundaries
'Touching and caressing and kissing, evidently, was just how Patrick showed his affection. Maybe it was because he hadn’t gotten enough of it from his own family, who knows? Art had gotten used to it. But he was also more than aware of how it looked to the outside world, and he had done his best to keep these friendly gestures to the confines of their own private spaces. Art had always been the one to put up boundaries, to make sure that everyone else knew – including himself, sometimes – that nothing gay was going on. They were just friends.' A look at Art and Patrick's time as roommates at the Mark Rebellato Tennis Academy, as Art contemplates his relationship with Patrick, his sexuality, and the convergence of those two.
