Fics like Wish I knew why (we can't see eye to eye)

It’s just- He hasn’t. Bothered Miya in a while. A good few weeks, actually. Because Miya is mad at him. Which? Fair. Reki was a total dick to the kid, basically ghosted him -and everyone else, truthfully-, and then never properly apologized. They’ve talked since then, but also not really. Not about anything important. Because Reki is a coward. Miya has every right to be pissed at him. But. Reki… doesn’t want Miya to keep being pissed at him. As snappy, haughty, and holier than thou the stupid little catboy demon can be, he’s Reki’s friend. Reki… misses him, and shit. (Don’t repeat that. To anyone.) ——— (Or: an unstoppable force (emotionally constipated teenage boy who refuses to admit anything is wrong) meets an immovable object (scorned thirteen year old)). Spoiler: The winner is absolutely no one.
