Fics like Team Venn

“Alright, Scorpion.” She hedged her bets, “You’re not the Scorpion I know. Why don’t you spill the game you’re playing by recruiting me for… whatever this task is. A lead-in to the next Spiderverse event?” He scoffed, feet kicking against the floor in a series of scraping sounds that prickled against Gwen’s ears. “I don’t understand you, ‘Pool.” He scoffed, “This task is exactly what I say it is. A mission to protect a pile of broken clay.” "Seriously, dude, why’d you pick me to guard clay?” The Extradimensional Scorpion chuckled, “I am low on funds, so I could only go for a small-time merc. But your reviews are good, and results reliable, for the level you’re at. Also, I thought it would be funny.” Funny? There had to be some situational irony Gwen was missing here. This time, Gwenpool teams up with her character design's two greatest inspirations, and ends up at extreme odds with them. Spider-Woman just wants to get home. And Deadpool is here to commit violence on a profitable scale.
