Fics like the ocean calls all

“Listen, I’m telling you - he wasn’t human!” Mercury threw his hand out, pointing it towards Earth. “We’ve just got, what- mermaids, hanging out in the ocean over here?” Earth spluttered, mouth open in disbelief as he tilted the drink in his hand, almost spilling it. “Mercury, you are aware of how weird this sounds, right?” Luna stared at him from Earth’s side, brow furrowed. “Normally I don’t like to agree with Earth-” Earth gave him an affronted look, but Luna seemingly ignored it, continuing, “but Mercury, this does sound a little… unreal. I mean, we know Sol’s not human - but he’s Sol. I’d be surprised if he was human, honestly. It’s a little weirder if we’ve got… mermaids? in the water.” Or; Mercury deals with issues related to being one of Sol's right-hand-men, is saved by a siren, and things just escalate from there.
