Fics like Good Luck Babe!

In the competitive world of high school hockey, a soon-to-be-14-year-old Riley Anderson feels like an outsider in her own team. She struggles to fit in with her older teammates, most of which see her as an immature freshman who isn't needed. Yet Val Ortiz, the team's star player, and Riley's greatest inspiration on and off the field has always treated her differently. Is this out of pity? Does Val see Riley as a chore she has to take care of? Or maybe Val really does see something special in the sweet blonde girl desperately trying to win the team's approval? (spoiler alert: yes she does) Will try to update as frequently as possible (hopefully once a day) SORRY YALL IM QUITTING THIS🙏
