Fics like don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of your blades cutting across fresh ice. The sound, and the smell, and the feeling in your chest as you breathe it all in. For Buck, the ice is his safe place. When you grow up in a haunted house you’ll find yourself searching for a home anywhere, and Buck found it here: the echoing silence of an empty rink, the chill in the air, the peace that settles over him as he glides across the ice. He found a home in hockey. He found himself in hockey. And he won’t let anyone take that from him. Not even Eddie Diaz. (Or the hockey AU no one asked for.)
