Fics like Bitter Herbs and Honey

Griffith’s hand moved almost of its own accord. His thumb traced the swell of Guts’ lower lip, then lifted itself to his own. He tasted bitter herbs and honey, a kiss at one remove. Guts didn’t move, not a twitch of a muscle or a flicker of an eyelid, and Griffith’s heart raced. It would be so easy to reach out and take. Guts is injured in battle. Griffith takes it upon himself to watch over him while he recovers.
