Fics like A person alone in the darkness, a person who is simply lost
Toya doesn’t really consider himself selfish. He finds selfish people (Akito) admirable, taking what they want; of course, it can become a flaw, but for the most part it’s something he wishes he could be. He wishes he could be like Akito, bold and honest, instead of himself; he wants to be anyone but Toya, really, Toya who gives in and gives up and loses all traces of who he really is. Selfless isn’t right, no– Toya is empty. --- Toya returns to Japan after half a year in Europe. He and Akito exchange a bitter reunion.
