Fics like Home is nowhere, therefore you

"Insomnia was built. Somnus died. Insomnia lived. One city with a citadel as its heart, beating slowly with a steady rhythm of magic ebbing and flowing. It would see 113 Kings or Queens crowned before the King of Kings would be born. But it would also take 113 Royals and their family before the one for whom this city had been made in the first place, the one Somnus betrayed, lost, mourned, raged, fought and bled, lived and died for, came home. The king, now Father, is ready to let the world burn for his family while a young prince is running towards a long lost uncle to welcome him home." Insomnia has been patiently waiting for one of its own to come home and, when you are made by Lucis Caelum, there's nothing you wouldn't do for those you love. Noctis agrees wholeheartedly. Incidentally, all of Bahamut's plans cease to be relevant.
