Fics like The Red-Shift

Peter felt a new wave of nausea hit him full force, panic crawling its way up his throat. He could feel the blue turn into purple, what before was numbness was rapidly turning into something else. He didn’t know what it was, but it scared him. “Peter, for God’s sake, I’m talking to you! Are you even listening?” And that was it. The panic he’d been feeling slowly morphed into anger, all the fear he had been keeping locked up at the bottom of his stomach, swirling with his anxiety, instantly solidified into heavy, hot mass. The thing about purple was that, if warmed up enough, it could easily blend into red. And Peter didn’t do well with red. Or: You know the trope where two people have one hell of an argument, say bad stuff to each other, then bad stuff happens, and they're all sorry and depressed? Yep, that's the one. Enjoy :)
