Fics like my love waits in san francisco

Dean Winchester has a good life in Lawrence: working a stable job at the local mechanic’s, living with his little brother and father, and taking care of their home. But behind the walls that he puts up around himself, Dean Winchester is a mess. He has no friends nor a significant other, finding comfort in meaningless one-night stands. He constantly acts as mediator between Sam and their father, John, as the two clash daily on everything. And he’s hiding just a little secret about himself that would ruin his relationship with his father if it were to ever come to light. But when Sam gets accepted at Stanford, and Dean’s big secret is forcefully revealed over the summer, the two brothers flee to California. Dean is forced to confront his isolation when he finds work in San Francisco, and finds his lonely life turned upside down when running into the handsome doctor with the beautiful blue eyes one too many times.
