Fics like Money Magic

When Steve Rogers finds himself suddenly in the 21st century—he knows it's 2012 specifically, but that's so hard to wrap his head around, last he knew it was 1945 after all—he feels alone and with everything yet to be discovered. Somehow, though, the companion that Steve does find is money. Apparently, money has been piling up for all those years of purgatory between MIA and KIA without the U.S. government being able to declare either for fear of announcing a crushing truth about the fate of so many citizens' favorite icon. How strange it is to have money. What can Steve do with money? What is he supposed to do with money? And... is it really that shameful of him if he pledges that money to someone else, a stranger, in exchange for attention that he's always craved but never gotten, not in the way he really wants it?
