Cithis leans forward, wets her lower lip and if she’s surprised that he follows the movement, she doesn’t show it. “How did it eat your desire?” She swears his eye flashes briefly, like light over obsidian. “…It waited until I was weak,” he begins, “And came to me in the night—” Cithis brushes her thumb across his narrow lips to stay his words. They’re chapped, rough against her skin, but that doesn’t bother her. “No, don’t tell me,” she murmurs, pushing inside him to press the pad of her thumb against his lower teeth. They’re flat, sharp. His mouth falls open with very little resistance, breath humid against her skin. The tip of his tongue touches her briefly, warm and wet. “Show me.”
