"How many have we lost this time?" Heero asks as Wufei stands in the doorway. That Wufei hesitates before telling him isn't a good sign, but before Heero has to ask him again, he says, "Thirty-five dead. Another twenty are seriously wounded. At least seven are not expected to make it through the night." Heero had sent a hundred soldiers after the Eltoo menace that is known only as Shinigami, and this was the result. "How large was his force?" he demands, clenching his hands. Wufei's posture somehow becomes even more correct. "Reports say it was just him." "Gather my generals," Heero tells him. "If I have to send a thousand to capture him, I will. And I do mean capture, Wufei. I want him alive." Bowing, Wufei says, "Of course, Your Majesty." Heero is going to make that barbarian regret ever raising a hand against Heero's troops. When the captured Shinigami is revealed to be an omega, all of Heero's plans change.
