Fics like A Collared Dog

“You misunderstand me. I do not mean that you must resist removing the collar when it becomes uncomfortable. I mean that once you put on this symbol of the bond between us, it will become a permanent part of your body. Neither you nor anyone else, no magic or physical force, will ever be able to remove it from your flesh. I need you to understand that if you are to become my Golden Guard. This will be an emblem of your rank, your authority and your loyalty to me. And if you were ever to betray me, it will be the method of your death. Once I place it around your neck and give you your staff at your promotion ceremony, you will become my Golden Guard until the day you die. Do you understand the weight of what I am telling you, Hunter?” ---- AU in which Hunter is forced to wear a magic collar to show his loyalty and bind him to Belos's side physically as well as psychologically. Hard to deny you were the Emperor's lapdog when you literally still wear his leash.
